UPSHOT – MENTORING EVALUATION AND LEARNING (MEL)

Triangle Trust also works with Upshot to support our grantees with their approaches to Mentoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL). MEL is critical to any successful programme and is the basis for measuring impact to enable organisations to drive social change. The Upshot system helps grantees collect and manage data, monitor progress in real time, measure impact effectively and evidence the stories about their impact.

Upshot is a non-profit CIC: our vision is a global community of impact-led organisations using data and insight to better serve their communities. It support 1,800+ funders, sport and community groups, youth organisations, local authorities, NGBs and charities of all sizes in the UK and worldwide.

It does this through:

• An easy-to-use Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) system,
• MEL workshops and resources to upskill teams,
• Helping structure outcomes, indicators and frameworks such as a Theory of Change,
• Enabling better reporting and visualisation of data for funders, stakeholders and participants.
• Listening to, and advising, organisations on data, reporting and social impact challenges.
